MFM provides media and entertainment industry financial professionals unique networking and educational opportunities and media-specific information services to enhance their personal capabilities and contribute to their organizations’ success.

MFM’s education, information, networking and knowledge sharing benefits are designed to keep you at the top of your game via leveraging the knowledge of industry experts. These programs cut across all financial disciplines and all media sectors, addressing topics critical to every sector of the media, and offering more than 60 hours per year of CPE credits.

      • Annual Conference: Widely known as the must-attend event where the brightest minds in the business present timely, actionable information, new connections are fostered, and conversations with colleagues’ spark ideas and creativity.
      • CFO Summit: This invitation-only event is designed for senior financial executives gather to learn from subject matter experts and each other. It’s a meeting where relationships are built, and deals are fostered.
      • Credit and Collections Education Programs: Our national and regional in-person programs and webcasts are tailored exclusively for the education and information needs of the association’s vibrant credit, collections, and order-to-cash community.
      • Regional Meet-Ups: Local gatherings in four major media centers reach members where they live and work. These events combine top-notch education content with the chance to socialize and network with colleagues in your community.
      • Town Hall Webinars: MFM offers dozens of webinars on a wide variety of topics each year. Each session is free for members, provides an hour of CPE credit, and opens doors to new opportunities for attendees.

MFM’s Member Networks have long been one of the most valuable benefits of association membership and include:
      • A focus on specific disciplines (accounting, tax, audit) and specific industry sectors (television, radio, digital publishing, newspaper, streaming)
      • More valuable teleconferences featuring subject matter experts and held quarterly rather than monthly

MFM’s Career Center is a venue to list internships, contract work, part-time, and full-time positions in media and associated industries. Application details for each position are included within the posting. MFM members can post their resume so employers seeking professionals can view and contact you directly.

      • MFM/BCCA Members may submit their job postings at a discounted rate for 30 60, or 90 days.

New! MFM’s Knowledge Center launched in 2024, serving as a repository for every webinar recorded in 2024, available to members on-demand at no cost. While we cannot offer members CPE credit for viewing the sessions, you can view any webinars that they may have missed this year and share them with others in your company who may benefit from these timely and relevant sessions.
